The Tu-160 bomber, a missile-carrying aircraft (NATO codename: Blackjack), is designed to eliminate targets in remote geographical regions and the back of the continental theaters of operation. Tu-160 is a low-wing integrated configuration aircraft equipped with an adjustable-swept wing, tricycle landing gears, an all-flying tailplane, and a fin. High-lift devices comprise double-slotted flaps and slats. Spoilers and flaperons are used to control the roll. Four engines are installed in pairs inside nacelles within the belly. Two compartments for the payload are situated in tandem (one following the second). The primary materials used in the frame are titanium and aluminum alloys treated with heat steel alloys and composite materials. Tu-160 comes with a receptacle that is part of the in-flight refueling system that is a hose-cone type.
