Bayraktar TB2
The Bayraktar T2 is a Tactical Armed / UAV System developed and produced by Baykar. It is a highly sophisticated design that offers all the solutions an operator could require in one system. The system comprises Bayraktar TB2 Armed/UAV Platform Ground Control Station Ground Data Terminal, Remote Display Terminal Advance Base including Trailer and Generator modules. Because of Baykar's technology accumulation and capabilities, the complete system is manufactured locally.
Bayraktar The TB2 is a Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle capable of carrying out Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) and armed assault missions. A suite of avionics on board that includes three redundant avionic systems comprises units that enable a fully autonomous taxing system, take-off, landing, and cruise. TB2 has demonstrated its effectiveness by logging more than 500.000 hours of operational flight time. Since 2014, it's been working with great success in its own Turkish Armed Forces, Gendarmerie, and the Turkish National Police. There are currently 257 Bayraktar platforms in for the service for Turkey, Qatar, Ukraine, and Azerbaijan. Bayraktar TB2 is the most successful in Turkish aviation record books for long-distance (with 27 hours, 3 minutes) and for high altitude (with 25.030 feet). Bayraktar TB2 was also the first ever aircraft of its type to be exported to other countries.
