The performance of Underwater Acoustic Systems is affected by various parameters, such as temperature, salinity, depth, sea floor structure, and sea surface roughness, and also by temporal and spatial conditions. Thanks to feedback from the field and through fine-tuning through sea tests, the performance of systems is enhanced. Sea tests take 3–4 times longer than preliminary and critical design works when dealing with an underwater acoustic system.
